There`s gotta be a law on the books somewhere that says you can`t use the words "expert" and "HomeDepot" in the same sentence!!!!

As ou already know, from all of my fellow carpenter buddies it is o. k. as I have worn out a couple of those compressors as well while framing with 2 framing guns at once. But if you want your compressor to last DO NOT FORGET TO DRAIN THE WATER FROM THE BRASS LOOKING SCREW AT THE BOTTOM OF THE COMPRESSOR!

I'm not an HD expert, but do run the hardware dept. Yes you can use a framing nailer with that compressor, however, like a few others have stated, the compressor may kick on or run continuously, depending how quickly you will be using the nailer. That being said, if you are going to put up a shed then I don't see any problem in using those items together. If you were a contractor, I may recommend another compressor such as the Porter Cable CFFR350C, which has a higher PSI rating at 135 and has a quicker recovery time than the C2002,and also includes a round framing nailer.

Nope, won't work! That's why I used one on the job 6 days a week for years,(Not same compressor though. They do wear out when you're framing up houses, 5 to 6 days a week! lol! Usually lasted about a year. ) That's also why they sell them as a unit! Sheesh! Who? Home Depot EXPERT? Right! Ask him how many houses he's framed up. Ask him if he's even ever framed a house? Trim work! Built anything? Yeah, right! Expert! I used to run two roofing nailers for two of us, off of one of these! (Maybe this guy should move over to Lawn & Garden! lol!)

That is a pretty small compressor for a framing nailer. It will depend on how fast you nail. If your like me it will work just fine. If your a carpenter it may be too small. The nailer will use so much air that the compressor will run a lot. They are meant for light use and not continuous running. I would use it, but than again I would also be going pretty slow. If you run it too much the motor will heat up and trip the thermal switch.

Should be no problem. . . as Jim said, it may kick on more often.

The only problem might be that the compressor runs more than you would think. That is because the nailer uses more air faster than the compressor puts out.

That nailer only needs about 70 to 100 pounds of pressure and that compressor will do it fine.
