I had borrowed a similar Bostitch nailer from my son-in-law when I was building my house, and it did a yeoman’s job on many tasks. Now I’m building a garage and decided to get my own, but couldn’t really justify the price of a new one for the limited amount of use I’ll have for it. Buying a reconditioned nailer saved me a lot of money, and it works just like new. A good savings! I’ve also used it on Hardiplank siding, and it’s fine for the siding nails but heavy and difficult to maneuver under eaves. If I did a lot of siding, I’d get the dedicated siding nailer.
